Scarborough Centre MP Roxanne James

Archival Page Of The STOP ROXANNE JAMES Campaign In Scarborough Centre.

This website will remain up for an historical record of Roxanne James four years as a MP for Scarborough Centre (2011 – 2015).

The Anita Bryant of Canadian Politics.

“With the original Anti-terrorism Act, we heard the same attitude that the sky is falling. The sky didn’t fall in 1984; it didn’t fall in 2001; it will not fall again in 2015, at least not from this bill.”
-Roxanne James March 26th, 2015

Yet she said the sky was going to fall if Same-Sex Marriage became legal in Canada.

“It is not acceptable to me to put children purposely at risk to satisfy the special interests of a tiny minority (LGBTQ people)”

“Our MPPs must use the notwithstanding clause and reject this court decision (same-sex marriage)”

“Special interest groups and activists have taken our constitutional rights to a level where we have made a mockery of our constitution.”

“Same-Sex marriage is not a ‘constitutional’ issue, nor is it a human rights issue”

“The biggest lie thus far from this Liberal government is not the sponsorship scandal or the gun registry boondoggle, it is the fact they are brainwashing Canadians to believe the issue of same- sex marriage is a Charter issue.”

“The issue of same-sex marriage is not, has not, and will never be a Charter issue.”

All from the mouth of Scarborough Centre MP Roxanne James. The Anita Bryant of Canadian Politics.

But go through this site for more examples of her homophobia, her transphobia, her xenophobia and her race baiting.

Roxanne James Asks Should Refugees Expect A Chocolate On Their Pillow? Conservative MP Roxanne James running for re-election in SCARBOROUGH CENTRE

Scarborough Centre MP Roxanne James was questioning a witness about the living conditions for refugees in detention. Saying, “I sometimes wonder if the opposition would like to provide a five-star hotel, with a chocolate on the pillow every morning.”

“Although it’s not a five-star hotel, I’m sure these facilities provide adequate accommodation for the people who come to Canada by irregular methods.”

Roxanne James – Same Sex Marriage NOT A Human Right

Roxanne James Same Sex Marriage NOT A Human Right. Conservative MP Roxanne James running for re-election in SCARBOROUGH CENTRE

The issue is with regards to who the marriage partner may be and not the individual themselves, thus not a Charter issue.

The mere fact than an individual does not want to abide by the law and/or wishes to push the boundaries of the Canadian social structure to suit their own personal needs, does not make that person an advocate of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, it simply makes them a Liberal.

The biggest lie thus far from this Liberal government is not the sponsorship scandal or the gun registry boondoggle, it is the fact they are brainwashing Canadians to believe the issue of same- sex marriage is a Charter issue.

Nowhere in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms does it refer to the rights of couples.

The Charter is there to protect an individual person’s rights and freedoms so that they are treated the same as the next person.

Same-sex marriage is not a “constitutional” issue, nor is it a human rights issue.

The Charter contains no substance to either support it or deny it.

For the Charter to come into play, there must be a case of discrimination with regards to who (or what individual) is permitted to marry.

ANY PERSON CAN MARRY

Any person is permitted to marry. It doesn’t matter whether they are black or white, handicapped or an Olympic athlete, heterosexual or homosexual. The same laws and boundaries apply to all – a single law respected and honoured by all Canadians.

NOT A CHARTER ISSUE

The issue of same-sex marriage is not, has not, and will never be a Charter issue.

It is a social issue, a moral issue to be decided upon by our elected MPs, MPs elected by their constituents based on the assumption that they will represent their constituents.

Not long ago, Parliament voted unanimously to protect the definition of marriage.

NOT POLICY

Legislating same-sex marriage is not party policy, nor was it promoted for or against during the last election.

Now MPs are being bullied by a dictatorship-style agenda that will forever change the face of this nation.

It now appears it was the Liberals who had the hidden agenda.

Go figure.

Our society and our laws stipulate the definition of marriage is the union between a man and woman.

TRUTH AND A LIE

I am neither religious, nor have a marriage license, but I know the difference between a truth and a lie.

And the biggest lie thus far from this Liberal government is not the sponsorship scandal or the gun registry boondoggle, it is the fact they are brainwashing Canadians to believe the issue of same- sex marriage is a Charter issue.

The original purpose of the Charter has been misconstrued by our courts and modified to suit this government’s agenda.
